Why am I watching The Fall Guy, you may ask yourself while doing so. It's a question that might occur to you at several points during the film, which is based on the 1980s TV show of the same name and stars Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt as a stuntman and a Hollywood star, respectively.
The answer, however, is simple: you're watching The Fall Guy because it's a lot of fun. Gosling and Blunt are both excellent in their roles, and the film is full of witty banter and exciting action sequences. It's a great way to spend a couple of hours, and it doesn't require you to have seen the original TV show or read the book it's based on.
